Q: How can I checkout a book?
A: The library building is closed and books are not available to check out.
Q: How can I return a book?
A: You can drop the book at the dropbox outside the library.
Q: Can I renew books?
A: Prior to the due date, you can call (510)464-3499 to renew your books; otherwise, return the book first for another checkout if no one else requests the book.
Q: I have a hold on my library account. What should I do?
A: Please contact the Loan Desk (510)464-3499 for it.
Q: How can I reserve a study room?
A: The study room is available to reserve at Loan Desk with a student ID card.
Q: We are doing a group study. Is there anywhere in the library we can talk to?
A: We have the study room that you can reserve, and the third floor is a group study floor.
Q: Where can I get the marker and eraser for using the whiteboard?
A: The library has White Boards available in the Study Room and on the 3rd floor. You can check out markers and erasers at Loan Desk.
Q: How much is print or copy in the library?
A: You can print or make copies in b/w, single side at 10¢ per page.
Q: How Can I print in the library?
A: Library computers are available for printing and you need to load funds on your student ID card or purchase a GoPrint card. Pay station and printer are at Loan Desk.
